  16. C)omment to Sysop.................Will allow you to enter a message to 
  17.                                   the sysop. This message will be marked 
  18.                                   as Private, with a subject of "User 
  19.                                   Comment" automatically. Using this menu 
  20.                                   item is easier if you just want to make 
  21.                                   a quick comment to the sysop.
  22. E)nter a new message..............Selecting this menu command will allow 
  23.                                   you to leave a new message to someone 
  24.                                   on the system. You will be asked who it 
  25.                                   is to, what the subject is, and if it 
  26.                                   is a Private message. Once you have 
  27.                                   confirmed that the system has the 
  28.                                   correct information, the screen will 
  29.                                   clear so that you can enter the text of 
  30.                                   the message. Using <Enter> when on a 
  31.                                   blank line will stop the editor ans ask 
  32.                                   if you want to send the message.
  33. R)ead messages....................Selecting this command will prompt you
  34.                   to enter a message number to start the 
  35.                   message reading sequence from.  Choosing 
  36.                   enter will take you back to the first 
  37.                   public message that you are eligable to 
  38.                   read, and from thereon take you message 
  39.                   by message thru the mail.
  40. N)ew Mail.........................If you were notified that you had New 
  41.                                   Mail waiting when you logged on, you 
  42.                                   can use this menu command to read that 
  43.                                   new mail.
  44. M)essage Search...................Will present you with another prompt that 
  45.                                   allows you to search through all messages 
  46.                                   for a specific addressee, sender or subject.

  53. L)ook at New Files................Selecting this command will bring up on 
  54.                   screen a list of all new or changed files 
  55.                   available for you to download [With 
  56.                   validated access] since you last logged 
  57.                   onto the system.  Use this command every 
  58.                   time you log on to keep you up to date 
  59.                   with our file directories.
  60. F)iles List.......................Will prompt you with another line 
  61.                                   requesting your specifications.  
  62.                                   Wildcards are O.K. to use here, and 
  63.                                   depending on your access level, you will 
  64.                                   be able to see all files available for 
  65.                                   you to download.
  66. D)ownload files...................Will prompt you for the files you wish to 
  67.                                   download, including extensions, as well as 
  68.                                   the transfer protocol you wish to use.  
  69.                                   ZMODEM is usually best if you have it.   
  70. U)pload files.....................Will prompt you for the name of your file 
  71.                                   to upload, including extension, as well 
  72.                                   as the transfer protocol you wish to use.

  74. B)ulletin Listings................Will present you with all the system news 
  75.                   files and bulletins in date order [newest 
  76.                   bulletin first].  These are the same 
  77.                   bulletins and news that you had the 
  78.                   opportunity to see when you first logged 
  79.                   onto the system.  It's a good idea to 
  80.                   periodically check these bulletins for 
  81.                   details of late breaking news and other 
  82.                   information.

  89. H)elp with commands...............Presents you with this information.
  90. W)rite/change your info...........This selection will prompt you for any 
  91.                   changes you wish to make to your system 
  92.                   settings including your password, ANSI 
  93.                   settings, page length, address and 
  94.                   telephone numbers.
  95. V)iew your settings...............Will give you the time you came on-line, 
  96.                                   and the other settings that affect your 
  97.                   usage.
  98. P)age the Sysop...................Page the sysop, and request a livechat
  99.                                   online with him.  Note that it may take
  100.                                   up to 30 seconds or so to find out if 
  101.                                   the sysop is available.  If he is not, 
  102.                                   you will get a message to the effect, 
  103.                                   and can contiue by leaving a message 
  104.                                   for him, or returning to the main menu. 
  105. G)oodbye..........................To log off the system.

  118. O)pen Mail Manager................This menu command will call up the mail 
  119.                                   manager portion of the utilities 
  120.                                   script, and allow you to search the 
  121.                                   message base, delete old messages, and 
  122.                                   pack the message base.
  123. S)witch Directory.................Allows you to access other directories of 
  124.                                   the system.  Use standard DOS commands to 
  125.                                   change directories.        
  126. A)bort GHOST BBS..................Allows you to shut down the BBS facility,
  127.                                   and switch to regular 
  128.                                   telecommunications functions.

  138. problems, please leave a detailed message for the sysop, leaving your
  139. telephone numbers, so we can call you back to explain the procedures.

  150. All users for their first time logging onto the board will have a limited 
  151. access level, allowing you only to do a few of the above functions.  Once 
  152. your registration information has been confirmed and verified, we will 
  153. automatically increase your access level to normal user, usually, within 
  154. two days. You will notice the change in the log on message, telling you 
  155. that your user status is no longer * New User *, but * Validated User *. 
  156. This will give you standard level access, permitting downloading, 
  157. uploading etc....  There is also an Advanced User Access level 
  158. permitting nearly unlimited access to areas of the BBS.  Only the 
  159. sysop(s), current staff, or associates will be given this access level.
